Sometimes when eating a lot of avocado toast, it’s nice to add in a twist to kick things up a notch. But it doesn’t mean it has to be fancy or use wild ingredients.
Simply taking a classic favorite, cheese toast, and turning it in to an avocado cheese toast is a great way to mix things up! It’s just like it sounds: Fresh avocado spread on melted cheese and crispy bread.
At the end, sprinkle on some Everything But The Bagel seasoning if desired for some extra “oomph” in flavor and dive in.
How to Make
Spread your butter over your bread, or opt to skip the butter.
Top your bread with the mozzarella cheese, and then place in the oven or toaster oven to bake.

While cheese toast is baking, this is a great time to mash the avocado in a small bowl. Feel free to add in a pinch of salt, pepper, garlic powder, or other spices if desired.
Carefully remove the toast, top with freshly mashed avocado. Now enjoy this simple avocado toast and cheese recipe!
